Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using barricade.gg ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

The Service is operated by o7 Games Limited.

2. Use License

You may access the Service for personal, non-commercial use only. All other rights are reserved.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username. You are responsible for safeguarding your password (managed by a secure third-party authentication service) and for all activities that occur under your account. Failure to provide accurate information or maintain account security constitutes a breach of these Terms.

You may create and use only one account per person. Additional accounts may be suspended or permanently banned without warning, and if multiple accounts are used to circumvent bans, manipulate ratings or leaderboards (including smurfing or holding multiple leaderboard positions), or disrupt the Service, all associated accounts may be suspended or permanently banned. Usernames that are offensive, inappropriate, violate common standards of decency, or that contain web addresses, advertising, or promotional content may result in your account being banned without prior notice.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• Post or transmit hate speech, including content that demeans or attacks others on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service ("scraping")
• Cheat or use any unauthorized third-party software, bots, engines, or artificial assistance during gameplay
• Engage in any form of unfair play or attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other players
• Use the Service — including your username, profile, or chat — to advertise, promote, or solicit for any external product, website, or service

5. Fair Play

All games must be played fairly and without external assistance. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Using AI programs, bots, or computer analysis during active games
• Receiving move suggestions from other people or programs
• Using multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, leaderboards, or outcomes (including smurfing or holding multiple leaderboard positions)
• Deliberately losing games to manipulate rankings
• Intentionally stalling or wasting time during a game, including deliberately running down the clock or going AFK to force your opponent to wait
• Rating manipulation or "Elo farming" — including but not limited to playing against your own alternate accounts, colluding with other players to inflate or deflate ratings, or intentionally losing to boost another account's rating
• Any other form of cheating or rule manipulation

Violations of fair play policies may result in account suspension or permanent ban at our discretion.

6. Premium Subscriptions

Barricade Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features (for example ad-free play, additional daily game reviews, and unlimited puzzles). The features included in Premium may change over time.

Premium can be purchased in our mobile apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play, or on our website through our payment partner. Your subscription is billed by the store or payment provider you purchased through, not by us directly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time: App Store and Google Play subscriptions in your store account settings, and website subscriptions through the subscription management portal we provide. Cancelling stops future renewals, and Premium remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Where a subscription starts with a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Prices may vary by region and by purchase channel, and may change; where required, you will be notified and asked to agree before a price change takes effect. Refunds are handled by the store or payment provider you purchased through, under its refund policies. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If your account is suspended or terminated for a breach of these Terms, including violations of our Fair Play policy, access to Premium features ends with the account. Refunds remain subject to the refund policy of the store or payment provider you purchased through.

We will not continue charging you for an account you can no longer use. Where an account is permanently terminated, we cancel any subscription purchased on barricade.gg so that it does not renew again. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be cancelled by you in your store account settings, which does not require access to your Barricade account. Where an account is suspended rather than terminated, the subscription continues to renew unless you cancel it.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall barricade.gg or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if barricade.gg or an authorized representative has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
